Contracts-NOW is a web based software solution to help businesses cut costs and increase revenue by helping them manage their contracts more effectively.

Contracts-ESSENTIALS is exactly the same piece of software but you can purchase it outright and installed on your network. 

Contracts-NOW has been designed for sole proprietors, micro business and small businesses…..From a turnover point of view, if your annual revenue is more than $10M you may want to look at Contracts-ENTERPRISE or you may like to start with Contracts-NOW at a department level and then upgrade.

Contracts-NOW holds two types of key information

  1. Documentation
    Contracts-NOW has a basic document repository which means you can store any type of document associated with a contract, in any type of format (pdf, word, excel, e-mail, scanned image etc. Not only can you store the contract document itself, but you can also store minutes of meetings, notes, org charts, scanned copies of insurance certificates, etc.
    This means that you can quickly and easily lay your hands on the right document, instead of searching through filing cabinets etc.  Very useful if you are renegotiating a contract as you have all the information and history at your fingertips.
  2. Metadata
    Contracts-NOW stores key pieces of metadata;
    1. Top level: contract number; title; scope; order number; manager; supplier
    2. Dates: start date; end date; term; options; expiry of insurance; milestone dates; subscription dates; security return date; meeting dates; etc
      You can set up e-mail reminders for all dates so you never miss a key date again. 
    3. Categories: status; category; sub category; type; business unit
      You can analyse your contracts, who are your best customers, what types of contracts are best, which part of your business is doing best.
    4. Financial: budget; sum; variations; forecast; total payments

  3. Contact details
    Basic contact details for suppliers, and key contacts so you can include them in the automatic e-mail reminders
